Romans 6:11-14

¹¹Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to ______, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. ¹²Therefore do not let ______ reign in your mortal body, that ou should obey it in its lusts. ¹³And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to ______, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. ¹⁴For ______ shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.


Take this verse and pick your favorite sin. You know the one I'm talking about. The one you love to come back to, and at the same time you detest doing. Fill that sin in the blanks where the original text has the word "sin." Memorize the verse. Say it to yourself when you feel weak. Go find something else to do. Meditate on scripture. Help your family. Phone a friend. Visit someone who needs a visit. But don't let your ______ take hold.
